GBP DEEP Roster

I don't get it. If GBP has this deep roster why did we only get two choices for mayweather ?
I'm ok with a maidana fight but can somebody please explain this to me?

Assuming we're talking 147 which was obviously where Mayweather's next fight was going to be.

I think other than Thurman, Maidana's the best option there.

There's also obviously Garcia at 140 that would have been preferred.

Everyone else was committed elsewhere pretty quickly. I think Golden Boy tried to force Khan on Mayweather and Mayweather didn't go for it. Hence we get Maidana, who deserved it.

People who complain never answer when I ask who he should fight. I would like Lara but he prob won't fight at 154 again. And Danny doesn't want the fight. Marcos isn't the best but he's the best choice under Gbp right now and it's not even close. People keep dreaming that Floyd will work with arum

i believe gbp is deep, it's just that the talent gap between floyd and the rest of the gbp ww is so wide that if any other ww(including TR ww's) made a unification bout with maidana it would be a good scrap........out of all the ww's they have, maidana deserved it the most because he went through the ranks and came out on top.

I agree with all of you. But I still think there should have been more people included in the poll. Even if maidana still would have won it would have felt more authentic

Because Mayweather is a class above everyone else in the sport. There are a few if any matches for him.
