Joe hardly stands a chance, let's be realistic. He's looked a shadow of his former self in his last three fights.
I think it's disgraceful how Jones Jr and Hopkins avoided him for so many years, Calzaghe would of beaten them both circa 2002.Comment

The answer is:
There's a certain group of people who will NEVER give credit to any white, foreign fighter, no matter what...always finding a way to spin to their detriment.
Then there's others who are skeptical and give credit and criticism when it's earned, and who offer well thought out, unbiased opinions. (This is a miniscule minority on boxing message boards).
Then there's the UK'ers who praise Benn, Eubanks, Calzaghe, and Hatton like they are Muhammed Bruce Lee reincarnate, no matter what.
Then of course are the bandwagoners who only remember the last fight, and repeat the general notion of what they read of others' opinions on message boards.
In other words, you're going to have a wide variety of opinions on Calzaghe after the bout- yes, even if he knocks Lacy into the first row.Comment
