World Boxing Council (WBC), is issuing a preliminary announcement the referee and judges who will work the May 3rd bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. against Juan Manuel Marquez and Keith Thurman versus Lucas Matthyse, to be held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, in a Mayweather Promotions in conjunction with Golden Boy Promotions presentation.

The referee will be Robert Byrd.

The judges for the bout will be Glenn Feldman, Patricia Morse Jarman and Robert Hoyle.
Mayweather is a former WBC champion in 5 different weight classes and Marquez is a former world champion in four weight divisions.

Meanwhile, for the clash between Thurman and Matthyse ,the referee will be Kenny Bayless.

The judges for the Thurman-Matthyse fight are Jerry Roth, Ed Kugler and Glenn Trowbridge.

Testing will be done by the NSAC together with USADA.

Good job there is no CJ Ross as a judge.

Theyre casuals but their all martial arts enthusiasts so they can appreciate technique. They loved the Floyd Judah fight with me.

nobody knows lara. not only that, lara barely throws any punches. there is nothing interesting about lara vs floyd. you really think lara has a chance to beat floyd by trading pitty pat counter punches?

At least with maidana he will make a fight of it. it wont be boring. there's that slim chance of floyd getting stunned or knocked down due to maidana's wild brawling style.
