Thurman didn't exactly look that great against a similar Argentinian in Chaves a couple fights ago. Soto-Karass buckled him hard.

Matthysse's better than both those guys. Thurman would, rightfully IMO, be the favorite, but I'll pick Matthysse to win.

the commentators acted like thurman got rocked by karass but after watching the replay several times its obvious they exaggerated. he actually didn't even catch all of that punch flush. he wasn't hurt.

Not sure why GBP feels the need to make this fight, like many have already stated it seems like they're sacrificing Matthysse to advance Thurman. Plus I'm not sure it does much for Thurman since Matthysse will be the smaller man and unproven at WW.

I'd much rather see Thurman face Collazo and have Matthysse comeback against a decent lower tier opponent.

Either man could get the ko in this fight. Thurman is the bigger man but he was shook up by Soto Karass in the first round and he's nothing near the puncher Matthysse is.
