    Sonsona/WV2 rematch?

Here's a thought..... Sonsona won in impressive fashion in Macau, WV2 hasn't really been around since his loss to Ishimoto.... why not a rematch in July in Macau?

He said he's improved since he started taking fighting seriously...well put up or shut up.

He's supposedly getting an opponent soon. Rigo's gonna co-headline in July, so it'd probably be then

I don't see it happening. There's nothing in it for WV2, unless he gets paid a lot for it, which he won't.

Fighting in Macau seems better than what he's doing now... which is nothing since he got let go by his promoter, taking him off a March show

Felix Zabala of All Star Boxing has announced that Wilfredo Vasquez Jr. has been released and will no longer be on a March 14th card that will take place in Florida. Vasquez has no other contractual obligations and is a complete free agent and may return to the ring in April and hopes to land

Bit harsh innit? Whilst I kinda had Shimoda up in the first two it was hardly decisive, and even early on Sonsona threw a coupla wicked looking lefts. I thought he looked dangerous though I hadn't seen him fight before.

Early on in the third he had Shimoda wobbled, and then a picture perfect uppercut...hell, you must just have really high standards I guess.

                A bum? smhs

Funny event, the ring of ish...the free undercards were really good...the main events basically dull, tho it was nice to see Mekhontsev doing his thing and Shiming finally getting a stoppage (though getting put on his ass in the process)

He didn't look good and didn't do much the first couple of rounds..... but it was a short fight with a devastating punch that made it impressive.
I was meh that they were working up to it, but his corner told him to catch him with an uppercut after throwing a jab in between the second and third rounds

Yeah...ain't saying he looked great in 1 and 2 but he did throw a coupla vicious looking lefts early - which despite being wide made me think he could be dangerous. Then early in three he threw...I think it was a hook which sent Shimoda staggering back. And then that finishing uppercut?...hell in my book you're allowed to look just OK for a coupla rounds if you can pull off a finish like that.

I was also a little sceptical of his post fight comments - like he planned it all LOL..but a third round KO like that after a coupla of meh rounds is good enough for me.

I haven't seen the WV jr fight, but I'll try and dig it out and get back
