Considering a 39-43 year old Hopkins lost controversially to Calzaghe and Taylor, the Hopkins the poster is describing is very capable of beating Calzaghe and Taylor. Don't know why the hell you are trying to be a know it all smart mouth when you obviously don't know sh-t.

This guy is seriously laughing at the thought of a mid-late 90s Hopkins beating Taylor and Calzaghe who he damn near beat in the mid-late 2000s. You're pathetic.

Around the Trinidad fight. Late 90's-early 00's.

He was obviously passed prime by 2005.

He would have a damn good chance against most the best middleweights ever. I wouldn't say there's one middleweight ever a prime Hopkins doesn't have a decent chance of beating.

He schooled the hell out of Pavlik after that fight.

Hopkins didn't do great against Calzaghe because Calzaghe's style did not allow Hopkins to headbutt and hold and hit like he's used to. Plus Calzaghe's a better boxer than his detractors give him credit for.

Now we sit around and wait for the butt-hurt whiners to go on for 30 pages screaming "robbery"
