The Hatton win did it for me. It was really the first time I saw Mayweather school someone who was regarded as a badass in his prime. The Corrales win was good, but more of a disappointment as far as Diego's inability to even compete. But with Hatton, I was simply amazed at how Mayweather was able to use old school tactics to just whip Ricky's ass! The side step and check hook that made a charging Hatton run into the turnbuckle head first, then fall on his back was masterful. Hatton was never the same after that fight.

This is outright ******. I clearly stated that i was taking into account JMM/Pac 3 and 4, which both took place at the exact same weight that JMM/Floyd took place at. 2 fights are viewed as acceptable while the other one is not, even though they happened at the same weight. It's not like Marquez got beat up by Floyd and then moved up to a adjust to the class, he went right back down. Then Manny brought him right back up, where his only other real fight at the weight was the loss to Floyd. So, how is it not acceptable that Floyd fought him, but it's acceptable that Manny brought him up to where he was not yet adjusted? It's a matter of not wanting to accept the beat down Floyd put on a man that many's favorite fighter was never able to clearly beat. Let's be honest. How's it wrong to bring a man up to a weight class he's never fought in, but it's ok to bring a man up to a weight class he has shown you that he does not belong in?

You're right. Floyd beat him up with his size, those 2 pounds we're the obvious difference in the outcome. Take that to the grave with you for all I care. Those who are educated on the sport are all that matter.

Doesn't matter. Another tainted Floyd victory.

In 20 years we will look back and say 'yeah Floyd beat Juan but not even on fair terms'

Floyd, if you aren't going to make the weight, don't sign the contract!

          "I have a great team"
If the tables were turned, and Juan beat Floyd while Juan was 147 and Floyd 144 you would be crying "it ain't fair doe!"

For accuracy, floyd didn't sign the 144 contract. It was unsigned until floyd weighed in at 146. then it was rewritten, JMM got 600k, then floyd signed. SOrta like how Chavez did Vera.

As I've stated before, you can take that to the grave with you. The win was legitimized as soon as Manny brought him up the same way Floyd did, but actually was beating Manny's ass.

Marquez is not a legit welter just a guy that can fight Pac at any weight. Still i dunno why Pacs demolition of Dlh is not given proper dues. He did 10x better than Tito and quartey at the same weight and 10x better than floyd. Moral of the story: sometimes its best to use your own eyes

I agree, Marquez looked like a little kid against Mayweather.

Probably because ODH went back to 147 for the 1st or 2nd time in 7 years as a 35 yr old for the manny fight while the tito and quartey fights were when he was prime and making 147 regularly.
