Mosley is more of a physically strong fighter but not necessarily a huge puncher after he moved up from lightweight. Maidana dropped Broner early for the first time in his career. I think that fight was the fight where Maidana finally adjusted to the WW division. Even when he was small for the division he was able to KO Soto Karass faster than Thurman did. Maidana hasn't actually had the 1 punch KO power as he has faced top competition as one might argue but he has badly hurt Broner, Ortiz, Karass, Lopez and Khan and mutilated Morales' face. Canelo beat up a small Lopez. I'd say Canelo has a lot to do before his punching power can be compared to Chino's

shane mosley is way more of a puncher than Ortiz.he knocked Fernando vargas and mayorga out with 1 punch. and stopped magarito, badly hurt Floyd. maidana can crack, but none of those guys you named were welterweights. lopez was a 140 fighter. broner was a 135 fighter. Ortiz was a 140 fighter. khan was a 140 fighter. morales was a 135 fighter who was chasing a title at 140. soto karass is the only welterweight he stopped.

Even though I feel Matthysse is the bigger puncher of the 2 and better all around, Floyd hasn't fought a guy that can punch like this in ages. I'm not saying Maidana is beating Floyd, I feel Mayweather will be able to expose Chino's limitations. Still can't remember the last time Floyd fought a real puncher like this though.
When is the last time we've seen a one punch KO guy in the welters? A guy that at any moment can get you out of there with one punch!

no boxer has 1 punch power unless your talking about Klitchko against a tomato can. If a boxer anticipates getting hit, the chances of him getting knocked out are slim.

Anyone can knock someone out with one punch- like a Mayweather sucker punch, but its not really the power that does it, its the other guy not being prepared.

Power doesn't matter when you can't catch the man. Did you remember Guerrero or Canelo landing a single meaningful punch?

Don't tell me that Maidana would as a 'slugger', where two arguably better 'boxers' have tried and failed.

Probably Canelo or Ortiz but definitely Mosley, I wouldn't necessarily count Maidana as one doe, if you can't khan a chinny khan over 12 rounds then am ruling you out.
