damn matthysse fans can give credit where it's due. danny beat that ass and all i hear are excuses.

that was the only disappointing thing about the fight. matthysse just took all of garcia's dirty moves and did nothing in return. if there was ever a time to bite someone's ear or throw a combo to your opponent's nuts that was it.

Matthysse don't want it with Garcia again. Garcia proved he is the better of the two. Danny would beat him again but worst now that he knows what Lucas is about. Danny KD Matthysse when no one else could. Rematch should be avoided. This is for Matthysse fans saying Danny got lucky and so forth. "If it wasn't for the eye" I'm tired of hearing that excuse. Posters dislike Matthysse because of his damn froupies.

Luck doesn't usually repeat. Danny doesn't want a rematch as it is unlikely Lucas will suffer a second handicapping eye injury.

Now Lucas vs Broner would not be fair. That match would resemble a man beating a child with Broner's corner squeaming to the ref to stop the beating.

mattysse doesn't want it again yet it's garcia who's avoiding the fight....makes perfect sense. he was losing until he poked matthysse in the eye. you think he's going to poke matthysse in the eye again and render him half blind again? he knocked him down after rabbit punching him in the back of the head so he flew in between the ropes with his arms trapped. you think that's going to happen again or that the ref will let that happen again? those are some pretty specific variables that you are relying on.

with a ref that doesn't allow low blows or knock downs against fighters that were just fouled mathysse would have won anyway. garcia had 3 good rounds when matthysse could barely see and even then matthysse came back strong in rounds 10-12. garcia could barely beat a one eyed guy when he was allowed to foul all fight. if garcia knew what a one eyed mattysse was about how come he faded in the last 3 rounds? why not fight him again since he now he knows what he's about? oh wait he's fighting herrera to build his brand lol.

Danny, or should I say Angel wanted no part of a rematch with Khan either. Was he scared of him too? SMH

I agree, for someone with such a "badass" reputation, Lucas seems pretty laid back and not into the notion of revenge.

I'd like to see an Alexander rematch at 147 after a warm up comeback fight

I dont think he'd be too small for the division ( rehydrated to 150+) and his style suits being shorter imo

I could get up for that. Not sure Alexander would want it again though. Not many guys are going to be lining up to want to face Matthysse which what he can do kind of limited. So, he'll probably be relegated to fighting someone outside the top 10 for his next fight. I'd love to see him get a fight with Provodnikov because no way that fight would disappoint.

I think Alexander needs something to get his name out there again so he could take it. Plus he beat Lucas' countryman and friend Marcos Maidana which another small storyline for people to get their teeth into.
