Man Adonis doesn't want kryptonite kovalev it was obvious the moment he hired al haymon. Al probably sold him on the fact he has experience in the subtle art of ducking. First, ask for an absurd price. Then, start talking mad **** about the opponent acting like the fight it a possibility. Seen this too many times.Comment

... But Al represents the "art of ducking" manifested at a top level of marketing expression, it's true...Comment

Funny how suddenly he is talking all that **** after signing with Al Haymon, but when Max asked him about Kovalev, he started to mumble something about vacations hahaComment

if stevenson was confident in his ability to beat kovalev then fighting kovalev would be the most lucrative option open to him right now. he would beat kovalev and then move onto the likes of hopkins, bute, or whatever. the fact that he feels the need to postpone the kovalev fight to maximise his earnings suggests that he knows that facing kovalev would spell the end of his run at the top, and all his other potential pay days will disappear.Comment
