Exactly. If he was confident he'd win he'd think he could only gain by making this fight now: he'd be adding one of the best light heavyweights to his record and taking home a nice paycheck. The only possible way this fight can be unappealing to him is if he thinks there's a strong possibility he'll lose.

If he keeps stalling and one or the other loses in the meantime the appeal of the fight will plummet along with Stevenson's potential earnings from it.

it's the way we talk. A sort of slang. If someone says to me "Yo ur why u aint come to the mall yesterday? U were scared to see me ah?" i'd respond "bruh aint nobody scared of u" meaning that I am not scared of him. Not that I am literally speaking for everyone else...
