I like Vazquez, very skilled guy and would like to see him face the Crawford-Burns winner.

And I think he should stay at 135 as long as he can make the weight. At 140 opponents are bigger and stronger physically, and he won't be able to clinch them everytime they get close enough to hit him.
Broner duck Vasquez I clearly recall Broner's handlers saying Vasquez was not in their radar because he did not sell. a clear duck also after Vasquez called him out, after Burns duck Broner Broner said there was nobody else to fight at 135 when clearly Titere called his overrated ass out.

Is it me or that arena was pretty empty? Supposely Zou is a star and famous in China and I don't see a lot people at the arena watching his fights.

Where is the dumba$$ who said Vazquez was going to be easy work for Shafikov?? It's one thing to pick the wrong guy, we all do but how the hell could that one guy on here call Vazquez "easy work" for a plodding midget who hasn't fought sht???

Vazquez has really grown on me. He was sitting on his punches much better and circling and walking Shafikov into shots. He is like a puzzle and I don't see him getting solved for a long time. Very clever fighter! I was not bored at all.

Good performance by Vazquez. The people that call Vazquez "boring", which he is, are the same clowns that say Mayweather, Ward, Rigondeaux, and Lara are "master boxers". Do you notice how unlike the Cubans, Vazquez doesn't think the whole world is conspiring against him?

Same here, it may not look as polished as it could be or "sweet"/"cute" but he's definitely got a very nice set of skills with a sharp ring IQ

thank you! it's basically because HBO hasn't told them he was good. if Hopkins clinches he's a master of the craft, if Vazquez does he's boring. yeah a guy who's like 5'10 is really out to head butt a guys who's like 5'4. clashes of head are common when a righty and south paw fight.

Vazquez is a master boxer and anybody claiming to be a purist and not appreciate Vasquez is a either a hypocrite or pretending to be because HBO and the media told them so.
