Article says four different doctors examined him, and he never complained of anything. It also says he went out to watch the main event (the fight after his), and that when he was leaving the venue he vomited, and then his team took him by taxi to the hospital.

Obviously, this is based on the article posted, but I think posters are exaggerating the circumstances.

so the doctors stop the rosado fight due to a cut but when a mans head is taking repeated blows from a heavyweight, they dont stop it.

the shannon briggs fight in germany is worse. and the referee ian john-lewis should not have been allowed to officiate again but this is boxing, the most corrupt and poorly run sport , fkin sickens me and that fA.ggot referee is still involved in big fights smfh

"When Abdusalamov arrived at Roosevelt Hospital, he was told to wait in line at a receiving window before he was treated."

The inspector "couldn't find anyone to ask" as to where the nearest hospital was.

'Take a taxi' said the inspector.

"The inspector was the only one from the commission to tell us to go the hospital"

People always finding excuses to not work. NY may be shit by letting Tito cheat as well as all them robberies but the dude picked boxing, a sport that is dangerous.

The article posted today said that NYSAC is dis*****g this version of the story. I obviously do not know what happened, but it would be interesting to know the full story from both sides. The version from the article posted today states that he was medically examined by four doctors and said he was fine. Then he went to view the main event. Then he left the arena, vomited, and was taken by a taxi to the hospital.

Considering both articles were written by the same reporter, it would be great if he could clarify the glaring discrepancies.

It is in a fighter's nature to say that he is fine. It's embedded in their mentality.

And as far as the main event, the article I gave a link to says:

Boris Jr. (son of manager) : "'There was a fight going on but Mago wasn't watching it. Then we went out onto the street to look for a taxi.'"

Sampson Lewkowicz (promoter): "'When the doctors said that Mago was all right, I went downstairs to watch the next fight then Boris came to me and said 'we should take Mago to the hospital.'"

They wouldn't make up the bits that detail what the Inspector said because the Inspector can easily deny or confirm...
