I def don't think Mayweather is running scared. The only thing he is scared about in regards to this fight is losing money.
I don't blame Amir for being upset about being ****ed around with for so long tho. He was approached about a possible Mayweather fight, and fighting in Dec would be too close to May, so I understand him not fighting Alexander, with the option to fight Floyd being much more lucrative.
Amir stated he signed a contract months ago, so he hasn't been able to move forward with his career until Floyd decides what he's going to do, even though the Money Team has said an announcement will be coming shortly 4 or 5 times now. Throw in the bogus "i want to give the fans what they want" poll, Amir def has a right to be upset.

gimmie a break, this fool khan is a BUM. he is trying to TALK his way into a floyd fight, while maidana has fought his way to it. all that ''fast hands'' talk is pure BS, those fast hands didn't seem to help him much vs julio diaz, this guy thinks too highly of himself, and turning down the alexander fight was dumb, had he won that, he would have a stronger case here, but there was no guarantee he was gonna beat alexander anyway, with that glass jaw nothing is certain. maidana offers a stronger challenge because he has the power to buckle floyd if he catches him, and the chin that floyd wont hurt, so its a sure 12 rounder here, i see floyd winning on points but with some moments of drama. with khan those ''fast hands'' wont help because hes erratic, floyd will simply time him and take him to school. this is the right choice, happy for maidana he deserves this payday.

You are having a laugh there would of been 5 months between the fights nearly half a calendar year - the reason he didn't take the Alexander fight, is his camp don't trust his chin even though Devon is not a power puncher they still don't trust his chin Diaz proved this, Khan hit he canvass to often - Garcia destroyed any little punch resistance he had - he would of had a title as well as a win over a legit welter a good bargaining chip don't you think?

Personally I think both fights should never ever ever happen, they are both as blatant cherry picks as you can get.

Having said that, I personally would have preferred seeing mayweather vs khan because at least it will be exciting while it lasts. Maidana is a tailor made opponent for floyd, nothing that we haven't seen before.

Hey the majority of the Brit's have got no time for Mayweather v Khan in fact NO time at all for Khan.
The story here IS fight contenders...we are NOT behind Khan. His LAST chance was to fight Alexander which he was gifted and refused !!
