Cut the ****. Passing up a fight with Devon Alexander because you have been told you will be fighting the best fighter on the planet is not a duck and you know it. If the Mayweather fight wasn't on the horizon Khan would have been all over Alexander and again, you know it.

What sources confirmed that Khan had an inside track to fighting Mayweather name one viable source.I also can't speak to knowing Khan's judgement it always surprised me that he would never rematch Prescott.What I do know is that he could have fought in August or September to earn this opportunity yet his since of entitlement led him to sit out for now what will be in excess of a year.These are some of the things that I do know.

I totally agree- Khan should have fought Alexander. But we know why he didnt and I don't think it constitutes a duck. Maidana wasn't even being considered before he put the beating on Broner so by default we know Khan was almost a nailed-on to get the fight.

But If Khan doesn't get the fight he's lost a year of his career.
