You simply don't deserve the fight. Period. This is what's wrong with boxing. Joke fights that ONLY make financial sense for the fighters and don't honor the sport of boxing.
No. Broner cherry picked Maidana thinking he would pull an Alexander or Khan...But Broner believed his own hype and his ego blinded him from the truth of what was about to unfold. He got ****d.

You can't really believe that can you? We know why Khan passed up Alexander and it had nothing to do with ducking. It's what this whole thread is about.

FFS the word duck gets used around here so often it loses all meaning.

You're whole rebuttal to my comment was exactly what I said is not a valid reason.

You said it yourself, read your comment "Khan doesn't deserve it..." Listen, neither fight is a cash cow so save that BS.

And Khan isn't a prize fighter? Okay, well he beat Maidana. So what you have to say about that?

        Cricket cricket.
Khan beat Maidana ions ago,in Khan's past 3 fights he has been dropped 5 times and has been inactive for a year and his last 2 fights were against paltry level opposition and he didn't look good in either despite having beneficial weight stipulations in both.

You must understand that, according to ADP02 and the other haters on this message board, the definition of green depends on who you are talking about. When you are talking about any fighter other than Floyd Mayweather, green means any fighter with a limited amount of professional experience who has never fought for a world championship and holds no world championship belts.

When you are talking about Floyd Mayweather, the definition of green is any fighter that Floyd Mayweather defeats who is not considered to be over the hill or past his prime, regardless of the number of professional fights said fighter has fought and regardless of whether said fighter holds a world championship belt.

Cotto was green at 140 and past his prime at 154. Alvarez was green, in spite of holding two championship belts and having fought 43 times. If there is a rematch between Mayweather and Alvarez, Alvarez will be past is prime at that time or may still be green, depending on who is talking. Mosley and De La Hoya were past their prime when Mayweather fought them, but not when Pacquaio fought them.

Once you understand this, you will be able to understand his irrational ramblings much easier.

You looked terrible in your last performance against a career lightweight.
Your speed and power are overrated, you have a weak chin, and you're not even as popular as Ricky Hatton.

You don't deserve the fight. Maidana earned his.
I couldn't agree more Khan ducks Alexander then has the gaul to say this - Khan gets exposed to counter punchers like Garcia and Floyd's a master at counter punching probably the best today - Khan should fight a legit welter and then people would take him more seriously like you said he had the chance against Alexander and ducked the fight and Porter took advantage and pulled it off. Maidana beat Broner and earned his shot and any true boxing fan knows Khan has not earned the right so let him fight a legit welter and I'm sure he will get his chance come September but guess what he can't beat a legit welter and his team know that otherwise they would of taken Alexander who is not a big hitter.

              • If Khan is so damn pi$sed he should rematch Maidana as Maidana did call'em out on Twitter, which neutralizes Mayweather's options and it will make Mayweather look like a fool and will be fun to see how the mighty have fallen. This may even force a Pacquiao fight who knows?

                • For f**cks sake I'm starting to not give a **** any more. I don't give a **** who Floyd fights anymore, it will be boring either way. I might not even watch the **** on YouTube. Grow some balls and fight a real threat, and I might watch. Floyd is supposedly the best p4p fighter on the planet yet he is unwilling to test himself and prove it. For ATG status he'll be in the same category as Wlad. Great fighter, dominated, but who did he beat? Mayweather is more linked to the one fighter he hasn't fought- Pacquiao- than any of the tomato cans he actually has fought. He won't be thought of as an Ali, a Leonard or a Hagler, a Robinson or even a Lennox. He just hasn't ever taken those risks and had those rumble-in-the-jungle-type defining career moments. It's sad, especially when the older Floyd gets, the better he seems to be. The Floyd I saw against Canelo was the best I've seen him. That version of Floyd would have made Oscar look ridiculous. Floyd may not have the same snap or movement, but he doesn't need to now. He's perfected his style. He can now pull off all those same tricks in the pocket, rather than against the ropes looking pressured.

In terms of Khan or Maidana, I'll use a Floyd mentality here and ask- would you rather fight Khan, or Khan's leftovers??

You really think that Maidana would turn down a Maywaeatherfight for Khan rematch? You sir are the fool.

Realize that is impossible being that Khan, Maidana, and Mayweather all share the same manager.
