I saw this.
Wilder gets dropped heavily by a right hand, sits on his ass and looks like he was out cold for a few seconds, glassy eyed, didnt know where he was. He gets to his feet very shakily and the ref gives one of the longest counts i've seen. Sconiers was terribly gassed out and threw some wild shots missing by miles as deontay managed to see out the round.
many unbiased refs would have counted him out but he was the GBP cash cow so he got an 18 second 10 count.Comment

The date was Oct. 15, 2010, and the opponent was Harold Sconiers.
"Early in my career, I got dropped," Wilder told The Opening Kickoff on WNSP-FM 105.5 in Mobile, Alabama, on Thursday. "I got a rabbit punch in the back of the neck. When the punch happened instantly my neck started to swell. There was a knot back there. It was a black out-type of feeling. By the time I got back up, the ref was in my face and I was like, "what's going on?'
His **** about it being a rabbit punch is bollocks btw it was **** on the chin and he admits he blacked out and didnt know where he wasComment

A right hand misses by Wilder and leaves his body in an awkward crouched position. Right hook misses by Nichols but in Wilder's attempt to avoid the punch from the position he was in, he goes tumbling backwards into the ropes. It's pretty clear that the punch didn't land.Comment
