But what's hilarious is the usual suspects using this and anything else as a way to make Kovalev seem irrelevant and unworthy of talking about and calling him overhyped and unproven. Yet the man CALLS OUT and publicallt wants to fight these guys and the usual suspects now find a way to make it seem like he doesn't even deserve the fight and it shouldn't happen. Oh and if it does (as well as similar scenarios with other specific fighters) the loser will be called a bum and said fighter will still be unproven!


It's a never endless cycle! Some guys here just can't STAND certain types of fighters for whatever it may be, and those fighters will never win in their eyes and they will always pray for them to be "exposed" so they can disappear into irrelevancy!

Kovalev has a bunch of computer nerds that probably don't even subscribe to HBO and stream his fights. Stevenson probably makes more fighting Pascal in Canada than HBO is willing to pay him for Kovalev. So it is what it is. He doesn't need to be b1tchin' at Stevenson. He needs to be b1tchin' at HBO.

Why not? If someone challenged me to a fight in the street and I walked away, spectators would think I'm a coward. Boxers should be held to higher standards, not lower ones. They are getting paid large sums of money and chose the profession themselves.

This fight should happen before the end of this year, I like the build up and the fact that both fighters are not too far from each other in terms of name, résumé and star power. The more they get bigger the more it might be difficult to make the fight.
