I completely agree. The worse thing about Khan now is that he is going thru an identity crisis. A real crisis. Not only does he have a chin to worry about but he is going thru a developmental phase that is pretty weird.

Hunter has tried to make him into a technical / patient boxer and has taken away from his best assets which were speed and awkwardness. His punches are predictable now and he just looks mediocre trying to box... IMO he should have stayed with Roach and worked on turning all of that energy into organized chaos where he still kept that Pacquiao-esque style of throwing punches but also working on keeping his chin tucked in and picking his flurries more wisely.

Garcia has done the opposite with Maidana, he didn't try to change his style, he just maximized his strengths and polished them. You look at Maidana and you see the same old style that got him the spotlight but fine tuned. It has been properly developed into a finer product.
