Why did this fight never happen?

It was set up like this: Mosley wanted to fight De La Hoya in a third bout, but DLH didn't want to give Mosley a good cut (despite Mosley beating him twice). Then, Mosley was gonna fight Mayorga, but Mayorga lost to Spinks. Mosley finally settled for Winky Wright, and Trinidad was going to fight Mosley if Mosley won. Mosley lost of course and the rest is history. Trinidad came back against Mayorga and went on to lose to Wright.

Its just too bad in a way that on of the biggest money fights in the sport with two of the most popular fighters in the sport never came off. Would have been a goodie I think
