Why did this fight never happen?

Tito Trinidad vs. Sugar Shane Mosley. I wasn't watching much boxing at the time (5 years ago or so). This would have seemed like an obvious superfight when Shane moved up to 147. Was Tito already at 154 when Shane moved up? While Tito's power was stunning I have a hard time seeing anyone beating the Shane that defeated Oscar in the first fight

i was going to start this thread after watching the coundown to mosley vs vargas but i was tired. its all good.. i really havent seen shane fight.. but those clips from the countdown yesterday were sick.. the power and speed was amazing from mosley.. i say he takes the fight..

a few years ago.. i think mosley wouldve taken this fight with his speed.. as long as he didnt get hit with titos bombs hed take a UD..

        Moseley's fault

He only had the big wins over Forrest. He never did much else, unlike Trinidad, who had lots of good money fights.

Tito & Don King was at ringside during Wright vs. Mosley 1 and had Mosley won that fight, it was 100% guaranteed that Trinidad vs. Mosley would've happened.

            Who cares?

At this point, Trinidad/Moseley is a sideshow, not a headliner....

thats not why, tito had just lost to hopkins also not to mention mosley was at 147 while tito was at 160.

it was going to happen if mosley beat wright but that didnt happen.

i dont know why it didnt happen back in like 2001 though, man it would have been such a great great fight.

i think mosley would have taken him out though. he has tito beat all acroos the board except power.

it was never the right time . After Tito "beat" DLH he moved up Mosley just became a welter. After Mosley "beat" DLH Tito had Lost to Hop and retired so there was no point at that time for the fight . Then like all them said about the Winky part of it all
