The problem with Nonito is he fell in love with his power. He thought he could finish everyone with it. He actually started declining in skill before Rigo. His fight with Mathebula was really, really close. He kept looking for that 1 punch KO. Now Rigo has made him lose all confidence in himself.

I think you're missing the point of the thread. It's giving the highest level of credit to Rigondeaux in saying that he ruined Donaire. Which, if the Darchinyan fight is any indication, he might have.

I disagree that Rigo just flat out decimated Donaire. The truth is that Nonito had been in a steady decline for years now. rigo just put the nail in the coffin. Nonito was once a beautiful all around boxer who had basically turned into an ugly to watch, one punch stalker.
