It won't be long before people discredit Geale and label him a bum if GGG runs through him.

Geale is a former unified champion and won both titles in Germany by decision. Outside of Martinez, he is the most qualified opponent in the division.

I think Geale's stock dropped a little bit with his loss to Barker. At one point, he was second only to Martinez at middleweight. Nowadays, with Golovkin going up and the Barker fight, Geale's more on the possible beltholder level (him, Sturm, Macklin, etc.) than the top middleweight level (Martinez, Golovkin). And the thing about Geale is he was never THE middleweight champion. Golovkin would be fighting a former paper champion, albeit a very good one. I think if Golovkin beats Geale, it should be seen as better than his win over Macklin, but not quite top level.

His stock may have dropped somewhat but that does not change his position much as the middleweight isn't loaded with quality.

He may have never been his divisions champ but we all know thats a rare achievement, given the politics in boxing. Regardless Geale is still a top 5 opponent.

Hey thicko Geale passed on 2 different offers just this year. First didnt want Monaco cause he wanted hbo then passed on hbo in nyc cause theres ufc that night in aus. Plus he'd already dropped a belt previously when mandated to fight him. But i know this is not gonna sink in cause youre dumb as a rock
