Well he's the money maker so the guy with the bread calls the shots on bs like that. It's corny but that's how ****** boxing is now in days. Cotto's been on the other side vs Manny and Floyd so he's not giving two ****s about how Sergio feels.

How exactly is he the money maker? Because he has a few successful ppv's? He wasn't the main attraction in either one. Last I checked most of Cotto's fights are premium cable fights..so are Martinez so as the top stars on those networks they earn exactly the same amount perhaps with some bonuses or what not thrown into the equation that doesn't count as purse. There are countless articles on what the max premium cable networks will pay a boxer per bout and that number is usually around 2.5 million per fight.
