Last I checked most of Cotto's fights are premium cable fights..so are Martinez so as the top stars on those networks they earn exactly the same amount perhaps with some bonuses or what not thrown into the equation that doesn't count as purse. There are countless articles on what the max premium cable networks will pay a boxer per bout and that number is usually around 2.5 million per fight.

Hes a bigger name after fighting Floyd than Martinez also this fight is on the weekend of the Puerto Rican Day parade in New York at Madison Square Garden so I would say taking that into account he is the bigger draw for this fight for putting asses in seats
