I'm a big fan of Cotto but these requests seem ridiculous. O well as long as the fight is signed I'm happy already got my hotel booked that weekend can't wait to see two of my favorite fighters go at it in the ring

He is such a standup guy, that he and his team have been the only ones devulging details about a negociation that took place in private. We are hearing only one side of the story and sadly we might not hear Cotto's side cause he ussually does his talking in the ring. As a hardcore boxing fan I really don't care about the these details I'm just happy the fight is signed. Another thing Sergio is not fighting GGG and it's too bad because he probrably can outbox him for 12 rounds. In his last fight GGG looked very one dimensional he is powerful but one dimensional. IMO

unlike Ortiz Martinez's career wasn't carefully managed. Martinez had to come up the hard way by winning and always being the B side. Oritz could never deal with adversity because he was so used to having it his way.


if Cotto is trying to get into Martinez's head it isn't going to work.

As a Martinez fan I can't wait for this fight, it should be a great fight. Sadly, after Cotto, Martinez next fight probably will be GGG which will most likely end his career. I hope Sergio fights Quillin before fighting GGG.
