I've known Ice for well over 10 years, have met him, have conversed with him countless times, and he is a great guy who has treated many people with kindness and fairness. I cannot say a single bad thing about him. He is a quality person for sure.

He has always seemed very down to earth and a decent guy to me. Never met him in person but he has always came across polite and helpful.
Not a bad word to say about him but I am a bit intrigued to how he has upset you.Comment

First of all, I do know he posts here and the common opinion about him is that he is a "great guy".
I do know Scully a little bit personally, I mean I never saw him in real life, but I know him over the internet since probably 2 or 3 years. I am not even proud to make this thread because I do not like negative stuff really but I felt I had to do this. I think I know John enough to judge him as a person and my opinion about him is not a good one.
I respect him as a former pro fighter and high level, world class trainer but on a personal level I have a different opinion about him.
Hey guys, let hear the original OP out....he may be on to something here and the only thing that I differ with the OP here is that Scully is one of the worst trainers I've ever seen in my entire life....top 3 easy.Comment

Not sure what your issues is with him. But I happen to know him personally, and my father has known him for years..he's genuinely a good guy and has a good heart..he's essentially one of the "good guys" in a business full of snakes and corruption..for that alone, he's okay in my book!Comment

I came on here thinking this post was about him boxing or something I'm not really sure why you committed a post to telling us your personal feelings about him just seems like some b!tch **** to me to just come on here and kinda slander the man out of no where. He posts on here so we all have a chance to interact with him and formulate our own opinions so no need to try and sway peoples opinion.Comment

I met John Scully in 1991 at a 711. He was buying a hot dog for Roy Jones jr and John mistakenly put ketchup AND mustard on the dog. Roy slapped that sh't out of his hands and said, "Nobody puts ketchup on a hot dog, nobody." John ran out the store panting and red faced. I felt bad.Comment
