Popular Polish heavyweight contender Artur Szpilka (16-1, 12KOs) will return to action on May 17th in Rzeszow, Poland. The 24-year-old Szpilka is coming back after suffering the first prossional loss of his career, which came last month at the hands of undefeated Bryant Jennings. Szpilka was making his HBO debut from the Theater in New York's Madison Square Garden. He was unable to deal with the boxing ability of Jennings, who stopped the brave Pole in the tenth and final round.

Szpilka is young for a heavyweight at age 24 and can learn from that fight with Jennings and improve.

First of all he needs to improve his defense. He fights slick but hes not fast enough for that style and gets hit to much.

fan friendly made for tv fighter but he doesn't take the best punch & he struggles with C+ guys. that is as far as he will go. when he steps up again he will be on his back. love watching him fight though. he's not like chisora who learned from his losses. he lost to B+ & A level fighters. the same thing can't be said about artur.
