Former champion Guillermo Jones (39-3-2, 31KOs) has promised to badly punish Denis Lebedev (25-2) when they collide for a second time for the WBA cruiserweight title on April 12th in Moscow, Russia.

When they fought in May of last year, Jones busted up Lebedev and disfigured his entire face. He finished the Russian boxer off in the eleventh round. But then Jones tested positive for a banned substance. The result stayed the same, but the title was returned to Lebedev and the WBA ordered a rematch.

The whole drug testing pisitive was a farce. The Russin agency has been under fire for some time.

Probably stripped because he was quote unquote caught so they have to follow through with proper protocol, but mandated rematch because they know the positive test was b.s. so they throwing him in for another whooping. A little muscle flexing going on behind the scenes
