A fact is that right now GGG is becoming a bigger star to the public than Ward. Pretty soon GGG will be the A-Side if a fight is made between the two. GGG has more "star quality" than Ward, because of his style of fighting and his personality.

If Ward is upset that Golovkin's team is hyping him up, maybe he needs to re-evaluate his own situation and maybe look elsewhere...

Try reading it first, he was no where "complaining" about GGG teams "Hyping" up their fighter, like you said that is their job and to be honest they are doing a great job at it. Because since. Lara fights on Showtime with GBP. GGG has a contract with HBO.
Can't fight the guy due to this, and Lara is smart enough to know this. The question you should be asking is why Lara, if he's serious about fighting at 60, isn't calling out Quillin who is promoted and fights on the same network he does.

Martinez had tons of trouble fighting anyone at 154. I know most people on this site don't remember way back to 2007-2008 but boxing was still around.

plus Lara has fought on HBO during the "cold war" against Vanes. funny TR and GBP worked together to make that fight. GBP would give Lara up in a heart beat to fight on HBO because it clears the Lara question for Canelo.


what you can't deny is that Golovkin is getting a HUGE push from HBO, 2nd you have to admit the hype has gone out of control. you can't say a guy is the most feared fighter from 154-175 when the best start calling him out and Team Golovkin changes it's tune.
