Ward was paid north of 2 million dollars to fight La Bomba. Do you think GGG has made anything close to that?

If the best fight the best the money takes care of itself. The only people that claim its ALL about money are the ones that dont know the history of the sport. Money is just used as an excuse.

Then why do you think Ward talking about GGG? I think GGG will surpass him in fame and money soon and he's humble about it. I agree money is an excuse which I haven't heard GGG use yet (thankfully), that's saved for Mayweather and Marquez mostly.

As I posted earlier, I think Ward is right. He has an accomplished resume and the skills to match but not the recognition GGG has. He wants that. he deserves it too, but deserves got nothing to do with it. Its up to Ward to create buzz...and so far he is doing more talking than fighting.

Maybe this is all to hype up a potential matchup which would be fantastic.
