I think so, but at least Margarito let Williams get a shot. Thurman needs to find a "Margarito" type name at this point to build his brand. I think he has a lot of potential and he's very marketable, it's a shame Golden Boy isn't really getting his name out there.

Paul had speed, height and length on almost everyone at welterweight. To me that was the fear he brought to the welterweight division like Hearns did. Thurman though powerful and exciting to watch; he still seems very beatable.

It's fair to say he's being avoided but mostly due to his risk reward. Give him more time to grow his name outside of NSB. If a big name was his first major step up and they beat him they'd have little credit for it...give it time it'll happen.

My boy Thurman is the truth though - he even got the gatekeepers keeping the door open for him to walk through unopposed.

I see big things in store for him. I hope he gets Porter or Collazo soon - Porter needs to keep his daddy in check, talking reckless as if anyone really is all that interested in him.
