Typical Boxing Excuse & Motive Today; All About The Money First

So all Porter did was beat Alexander, which IS an accomplishment. Prior to Alexander, who's he fight and beat???? Had Thurman gotten to Alexander first he may have beaten Devon too. The point is, Porter already is more concerned about the paychecks, and not fighting the best to be the best; let money take care of itself secondary. Porter should step in and call out Provo; he can't get anyone to fight him. Porter could call out a 40 year old Marquez. Call out Danny Garcia. Don't want a title holder, go fight Thurman, or Matthysee, or Guerrero... they'll fight. Stop trying to pull a Floyd or Boner and protect and hand pick your career to the safest trips to the bank.

Actually at Paulie's time Thurman really wasnt relevant or meaningful. As Paulie was a champ with leverage looking for $$ fites. Maidana however was a contender and straight up ducked Thurman.

Now he beat Diego Chaves and now Soto Karass and having an WBA interim title for what its worth does help you so I wouldnt say Paulie ducked. As for Porter, yes sir.

Again this is why I alway say that when all these fighters are calling people out, it's because they are on the outside looking to get in, once they get in it "The money isn't enough" or they use excuses like GGG fanatics are doing now.

Don't think Paulie ducked him too, but. Maidana definitely did just like. Maidana ducked Bradley and then use the manager excuse when he got caught out.

Now Thurman no doubt wasnt relevant at the time he called out Maidana but Maidana too was at a career low so it does count as a duck.

Yep, that's why I consider it a duck too. Like you said it's wasn't like Thurman career was major relevant at the time but then Maidana too wasn't really high too, the fight was at the right level career wise for both of them but Maidana looked the other way straight up lol!

Might as well say that Keith Thurman is too good for them and the price offered to them is not enough to take a loss, freaking sissys. I'm tired of managers, promoters, and even fighters saying that there's not enough money in this or that fighter, that's one of the worst excuses ever and it reflects horribly on the fighter.

Somebody needs to sack up and give this guy a shot. For a long time I have felt that Thurman was a much better prospect than Broner and so far I've been proven right.
His management and the networks need to sack up and offer people undefeated money if they want them fighting an undefeated fighter. For a guy with a belt to fight Thurman for peanuts would just be ******.
