Thurman is a beast. The top guys won't want to fight him until they absolutely have to.

The title is a bit misleading, if you actually read the article it makes a bit more sense. However, Porter is far from "elite" as his trainer claims and is why he needs to still face the top guys to achieve that title. Yes Porter's win over Alexander was good (mostly because if rid us of seeing 5-head on network TV) but it's not something to catapult him into the elite level, this guy had a draw with freakin' Diaz not too long ago. Then again it seems a lot of top guys are hesitant to get in there with Thurman right now.

                Paulie, Maidana, and now Porter.

Somebody needs to sack up and give this guy a shot. For a long time I have felt that Thurman was a much better prospect than Broner and so far I've been proven right.

                  Wow i smell a duck.

His dad is rite though. That belt belongs to Amir Khan given Mayweather picks ElChino

Let the excuses begin on behalf of Porter.

Khan ducked Alexander rite? So what is Porter doing now?

I think this is Shawn's dad way of saying they're not ready for Thurman at the moment.

                    I can understand that.

Although I think this fight would be like Bradley-Alexander... It would be a very good measuring stick for both
                    Bull****. He's champion.

Young lion where have i heard that before?
I can't say i blame his camp too much. They don't see this as a winnable fight. They are just now getting in line for the bigger money fights and they're not gonna take that risk. Maybe a paulie malignaggi fight?
