There are some seasoned fighters in there. He should be fighting these guys now really because otherwise he will be blowing guys out in 2 rounds. It's a bit Deontay Wilder.

The Avila is not good. Chisora took him 9 rounds because he was having an absolute stinker.
Bahaha at Audley forreal. Such a dissapointment.

It is right of passage as an Olympian to KO him in 1 round now, lol.

From the list I provided - I think Sprott would be an acid test at this stage in his development.

Sam Sexton is a decent fighter too.

At worst I think he'll have a Frank Bruno type of career. And that's not too bad.

I simply wouldn't be able to bare another show where Audley will bore everyone with his Olympic gold medal and his redemption.

Neither would I. And he's talented enough to pull off early matches against the likes of Chisora and Fury etc. It's still better not to rush it though. No need to potentially cut short a career that could be a great one if given time to blossom naturally

              Absolutely.

I fear for AJ with Hearn and Sky hyping him up; it reminds me of the ridiculous praise they lauded on David Price when he first started.

He's older than Hughie, sure, and probably can be moved on faster, but, at most, he should be fighting for the British title this year. He's nowhere near world level. As another poster said, he needs rounds.

I rate AJ, but I still think he's too green for Sprott. Maybe in 2-3 fights time.

I like Joshua and his career has got my attention as it should because we all want a heavyweight like him to come along and show some promise that is somewhat justified, he is pretty good and I believe the talk of him becoming a success is grounded in reality. However promoters and the like putting him in the same sentence as people like Chisora is pretty ******, at THIS point in time. I understand they need to get a bit of hype going, rally some fans etc, but too much of that can lead to fans pressuring him to be put in with someone he shouldn't be in with yet, like Chisora in this case.

He needs one or two more fights where he can try things out etc and get used to things a little more, then his next step up should be the type of guys that don't visibly crumble after a good shot and take him into later rounds. I believe if he carries on at the rate of progression he is at that this time next year he could be British champion and making moves at European level. World level is a good few years away from him yet. He is good, and his promise in the HW division has my attention, but lets keep honest about it for now.

I'm glad hes not like "oh yeah I'd batter Chisora", at least at this stage, maybe next year!

The UK has so much talent in the HW division atm with Tyson Fury, Chisora, Haye, Hughie Fury and Anthony Joshua

I really think It's only a matter of time until one of these guys is champ.

I think though that AJ is clearly better than Price.

But yes, he needs rounds. And that's the most difficult thing to get him if they can't rush him. There are very few good opponents out there who would be willing to take on AJ for little money at the moment.

Although someone like TT would be really good for him late this year or early next year. Or someone else like Fres Oquendo, Oliver McCall, Jovo Pudar and that lot. Some of them would give him some rounds and throw a little something back without actually being a big threat.
