Haye might have been unreliable, but no one in their right mind would have turned down a Haye fight and 5 million pounds in favour of a fight with Pulev and 100k. that doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Even from the publicity he's received from the Haye shenanigans, his profile has risen a lot in the UK.

Further than that, everyone knows it doesn't matter whether you're the mandatory or not, Wlad will give Fury a call sooner or later - that's for sure. And he still wouldn't make 1/5 of what he'd make against Haye (even though the fight never happened).

To be fair, they couldn't have expected Haye to pull out twice of that one.

I'd much rather Fury went down the WBC route and take on Wilder. That fight would exciting.

I think Fury would possibly get stopped by Wlad but I think it is more likely he gets thrown out.
