At least it would give him a chance to fight a great fighter.

I'm not a Klitschko hater. I'm not a big fan, but I do look forward to him beating, Byrd. Corrie Sanders is not the only guy to KO Wlad, either. So I guess I'll pull the Brewster card, too. Wlad's very skilled, but he just can't take a punch. His heart impressed me in the Peter fight, but keep in mind, he tasted canvas 3 times. He won in very courageous fashion, and no one can take that from him. So, I'm not hatin', just statin' the facts.

        He's too smart.
Intellegent people can't take hard hits, their brains are too sensitive.
Take for example Homer Simpson.... Even Roderick Tatum couldn't KO him..

well im not a klitschko nuthugger and as far as im concerned only one of the three KD's against peter were legit, and going down once against the guy regarded as the heaviest puncher in the division isnt such a bad thing.

i dont think his chin is as bad as some of you guys make it out to be, i really think, like a lot of others, that his problem is mental.

he has never been put down for the count so to say but has been down several times, ans has shown the sbility to fight back from it.

so right off the bat you know that he has the best skills at heavy plus he has proven he can get off the canvas to win.

i hate making a positive post about him cause it seems like being a klitschko fan gets you a lot of disrespect around here and i understand why people wouldnt like him...

but for crying out loud how can you say any other heavy is more fun to watch?? wlads straight right is a thing of beauty.... and besides for all his greatness, toney bores me and hes the only other guy i want to see win.

i can't believe people are taking this seriously!

We should debate whether Lennox Lewis will be considered a great first, since Wlad is like ten rungs beneath him at present. Maybe they could dual for the "most boring heavyweight champions of all time" or something. Otherwise, Wlad's best chance at the hall of fame is "first Ukrainian heavyweight champion" or something... Oh, wait, Vitali has that one, right?

Good post. IMO - He is fun to watch. You never know whats going to happen, but chances are someones going down.

For all his flaws, he truly is a gifted offensive fighter. His short left hook off the jab is something I've never seen in another heavyweight, and he KO's people with it.

Seriously Manny, if you don't know the difference between a boxer with great skills, and a boxer who is an all time great, then you shouldn't be posting on a boxing forum. Let me clarify,
Crhis Byrd had great boxing skills in his prime, do you think he will be in the HOF? Therefore, he is a great boxer but not an all time great. Not terribly difficult, really.
