Pound for pound- this term gets used so often it takes away the prestige of being being the champ in your weight class. Ex. He's good at 154 but he's not top 10 pound for pound.
I wonder if pro-boxers ever get together (at the Gym or at social events, whatever) - and discuss what a bunch of BUMS, QUITTERS and COWARDS their fans are..
Like:
Floyd - these morons worship me whatever I do, even the Mutha****as with no money throw dey money at me, buncha bums!
Pac - My guys, y'know so many of them, I get KTFO and they run like cowardly little **** - they call themselves fans but they just a bunch of quitters.
Both shake their heads sadly and turn to happier matters...
let the people know what you voted. for whatever reason, maybe you think its disrespectful. give your fair or unfair examples of one, e.g. ggg is a ducker.....or beibet shumenov is a paper champion.
None. I am an amateur fighter, and they say never question a mans courage until you've been in the ring. Well i've been in the ring plenty, and I can call any one of them out on a number of things any day. Sorry.
Quitter. Most dudes on here can't take a minimum weight fighter's jab let alone get hit sparring for 10 weeks+ in camp coupled with a trained professional in front of you trying knock your block off for up to 12 rounds. It's become cringe worthy to see people use that phrase here on NSB because it holds no water anymore. Not with dudes dying and going into comas for not knowing when to take a knee or corners not wanting to throw in a towel and save their fighter's career let alone their life.
