Any active fighter who is a pure boxer will trouble Floyd; Someone who can fight off the back foot, throw multiple jabs and throw fewer power punches will give Mayweather 12 hard rounds of competition.

The key to getting to Mayweather is to force him into becoming a more offensive oriented fighter; By fighting off the front foot and forcing him out of that Philly shell, into throwing more than his typical 35 to 40 punches per round; This will leave him very vulnerable to counters and jabs.

Therefore, sluggers, swarmers, counter punchers and volume punchers need not apply, if they would desire to enjoy any success against Money Mayweather over 12 rounds.

It's going to take a defensive fighter to defeat a defensive fighter.
