i like provo he is very entertaining but why is he acting like hes pac man or tyson he beat alvarado his claim to fame was a lose and being manny training partner. his team just rubs me the wrong way hes calling out a 40 whatever year old marquez who has been in more wars then most has never been knocked out if im not mistaken most his losses were close he fought pac man 4 times for god sake and arguably won 3 of em. i just think provo is being ridiculous.

Please read what you just wrote because it's flat out hypocrisy. You saying a sitting champion can't call people out now? Are they lying about what they are saying about Marquez? Nope, because most of it Marquez has already admitted to. So it's ok for Marquez to fight a guy whose literally going to be the new age margarito fighting with one eye...instead of fighting a guy who has said he'd conceded on everything from location to to money to make a fight. Some people really just don't think before they type it seems. If you are still boxing you are still paying dues and piling on to your legacy. It's understandable that team Provo want the fight, but they need to understand that:

1) the fight makes sense if Marquez wants it, but he doesn't owe Provo (or the fans) anything. If anyone in boxing has the right to pick and choose his opponents, it's him.

and more importantly:

2) Marquez is not a cash cow, and him vs Provo probably wouldn't be PPV.

Marquez has won more rounds than he lost against the fighter of the decade....he's been in some brutal wars along the way......you know this!!....Marquez been fighting those type of fighters so stop acting like this new dude brings something Marquez hasn't dealt with....dude is the flavor of the month and his time in the light will run its course by next year....yall acting as if this dude been smashing top dudes left and right with lefts and rights....smh

Might sound strange but I see reasoning in both of these post and kind of agree to a certain extent. I appreciate Marquez's contribution to the sport but at this stage of his career it would be in the best interest of his health to stay away from Provodnikov.

I bolded Roy because he's an example of what I don't want to see happen to Marquez, a fighter that hangs around for too long an begins losing to fighters he would've beaten in his prime.
