I thought May's answer was always something like "we are focused on (insert name) and not thinking about anything else." It's possible he may be taking Maidana lightly....

    WAR Maidana!!!

All silly Floyd cliches. It is not a coincidence that he chops fighters work rates in half.

Maidana will be no different and post fight we will see countless threads asking the same ****** question.

        "Why didnt Maidana throw enough?"

Because he was tired of getting in punched in the eye , jaw and head over and over.

Maidana is going to be badly badly beat up.
Why are you taking those statements as criticism?

Maidana WILL bring the fight and he won't stop coming forward. That's his style and one Floyd hasn't seen for a while, since perhaps Hatton. A guy who will force it for the vast majority of the fight.

Will Maidana get picked off and outboxed? Yes likely but it will still be interesting to see and entertaining especially if Floyd stands in the pocket abit, which he will at times.

Floyd himself said at the presser that Maidana could force him to fight in which case he will fight.

This is a good fight, another at least solid fight Mayweather is taking. He hasn't taken a fight I was pissed about since Marquez, which ended up looking not so bad after everything that transpired in 2011-2012.

He's unifying titles and fighting a Top 10 WW coming off three at least decent or solid win at the weight.

I actually like this fight more then Ortiz or Guerrero. Maidana won't mentally quit and/or pull a headbutt and try to kiss Floyd in the ring move like Ortiz, and he won't try to box Floyd at times like Guerrero or Canelo.

He'll come forward 100% of the time non-stop the entire fight, and force Floyd to throw often. Floyd probably wins 10 rounds, maybe only 8-9 if Maidana is able to be more successful then we think. But this is a solid fight.

You've got to take into account Mayweather's 37 aswell.

Obviously I think Mayweather wins and wins well but I think it will be more competitive than people expect.

Call me crazy, I'm really going out on a limb on this one. This is a daring, scintillating prediction but I think floyd outboxes maidana easily. Now dont quote me on that

It's the opinion expected of people, but anyone paying attention to Maidana knows he has the potential to make this a hellacious war.
