both fighters have won significant fights since their losses but maidana still gets crapped on for some reason.
Because Alexander is straight basura. Alexander doesn't have 1% of Mayweather's boxing ability.

But enlighten me, what has Maidana done since?. He was in a life and death fight and got rocked badly against Josesito Lopez for Christ sake.

Not to mention we've seen him thoroughly outboxed by a shot Morales, Khan and Kotelnik.

you can practically pick apart any past or future opponent of floyd with that logic. what's your point? should he only fight undefeated fighters from now on? maidana doesn't have a great chance of beating floyd - who does?

lopez had one good round and got stopped inside 6. life and death means struggling for 12 rounds and getting knocked down by julio diaz.

he stopped a solid fighter in soto karass and beat the piss out of broner as a 5 to 1 underdog but ok, that isn't an accomplishment.

thoroughly outboxed implies one winning comfortably on the scorecards. kotelnik won by split decision with a busted face and morales could only muster a draw on one judge's scorecard. i'm sure you know what happened with khan.

Maidana will come with Margarito-esque conditioning and take Floyd into deep, dark waters.

Rabbit punches from Maidana wobble fighters.

              Floyd is ****ed.

Would like to see El Chino bring it hard. Should make for an exciting fight. Especially if he intends on keeping his title. I don't think he'll be tentative to throw unlike Floyd's other opponents.

Maidana NEEDS to have no respect for Floyd and what I also mean is, fight dirty without any type of conscience. Headbutt him, knee him, thumb his eye, pull his head down, push his head back scratching the face with the inner part of the glove... Floyd hates that type of style and gets really uncomfortable.

This is the fight of your life, be wild.

The way I remember Khan - Maidana is Khan starting strong, knocking Maidana down in round 1 with Maidana barely beating the count. After Maidana settled in midway through the fight he was battering Khan pillar to post the rest of the fight, the kind of beating that would have evoked a stoppage in countries like England. Khan won the scorecards, but Maidana won the war.

                      What's with this ****?

Thoroughly outboxed by Morales? Really? Corley would have been a better example but that was close aswell.

Kotelnik beat him but it wasn't a "Thorough outboxing"

Plus, he's a better fighter now than he was for any of those fights.
