He should have fought him already, perfect fight to get used to 147.
Nothing about the current Khan makes me thinks he wins easily. He probably wins most of the early rounds with his speed, combinations, and movement. However, he will get caught eventually and then all bets are off.

IMO Khan is a shot fighter. His chin and confidence in the ring are in shambles and he has looked very underwhelming and borderline garbage at times since leaving Roach.

This is a winnable fight for Khan, and a good way to make his WW debut..It makes sense imo..Should make it happen..

Because Lopez just isn't very good. He's solid at best.

          Khans beaten better fighters.

It makes sense if Khan wanted a McCloksey/Julio Diaz type warm-up. Khan is looking for a big fight right now so it simply doesn't make sense to fight a journeyman.

Khan was a different fighter in a different place when he beat those(waving quotations in the air)better fighters..Right now he is coming off losing back to back notable fights..Also looking less then stellar against low level opposition tbh..Khan is not above fighting a fighter like Lopez, esp for his debut at WW..I mean let's be honest hear..Since losing back to back,he fought two fighters who were suppose to make him look good, yet he has yet to look good..

This shot version of Khan would taste the canvas vs Lopez, diaz caught him pretty good and so would Lopez who isn't as bad as some on here say, tough man who would not be in the slightest intimidated by Khan after fighting Ortees,Canelo and the Problem Solver Maidana.

khan might win in similar fashion to the Diaz fight or he gets stopped. Since leaving Ariza and then Roach, Khan hasn't looked the same physically especially. Those legs have lost the muscle and his punch resistance seems shakier since no more Ariza.
