    why would it?
1 fight has nothing to do with the other
Floyd just outboxed Alvarez for a clinical decision
he didn't inflict any damage on him in the fight
if Angulo wins by KO, Floyd-Alvarez has nothing to do with it

Look at what Floyds last bunch of opponents have done after fighting him.
      Oscar Nothing
      Hatton Nothing
      Mosely-nothing
      Guerrero-nothing
      Ortiz nothing
      Canelo yet to be seen.
Shows either the level of competition he's fighting or how washed up these guys are that they accomplished nothing after fighting Floyd.
      Good post.

        Why no mention of Marquez?

It either shows his level of competition or what he does to them in the ring mentally

I think a case can be made for Mayweather doing something to these guys mentally. Schaffer even touched on it in his most recent interview. He said these guys call out Floyd, he (schaeffer) makes the fight, then the guys are done after

Do your research kid. And if you're gonna call Alvarez the #1 154 (at the time) then might as well call him P4P too since that's where the RING had him.

          Stop slurping nuts.

you bring this poll made with fans, but you wont mention the one made with media, or the ones made here with hardcore fans, whatever suits your agenda..
go ask trout him self , he knows who was the faster, stronger better fighter...

            this ^^

is amuses me when people act as if one fight is all that matters when a boxer (be it floyd or someone else) has been at championship level for years and beat multiple future hall of famers and collected multiple world titles.

every fight matters in a boxers legacy, but its a small part in a big picture when someone achieved as much as floyd has over the course of so many years.

If Angulo KOes ALvarez it's only going to cement Floyd's legacy. His legacy is being a coward and a cherry picker.

I feel the same about EVERY catch weight. Even the ones from my favorite boxers.
