Tyson Fury is...

That's the thing. He's clearly messing around and having some fun.
Put him in with a top heavy and hopefully you should see the best version come out.Comment

Joshua is light years away from being ready for Fury.Comment

I'm not even sure about that anymore, I can see Fury doing his bit of showboating and going to zzzzzz land after the first clean shot by Wilder. Fury has some mythical power IMO, he hasn't stopped anyone as of yet that wasn't either much smaller than him, a journeyman or guys with no chin. Ok, Wilder has fought perhaps even worse bums but you can clearly see he has more power and more functional power. If Fury managed to get into a rough inside fight with Wilder he could overwhelm him but if Fury comes in in his fat shape and boxes ******ly he gets knocked SPARK out.
Damn, it would have been great if Wilder had fought Chisora back when that was slated... Chisora ATM definitely beats Fury though. And all of these fighters get beaten by Wlad.Comment

Based on their performances tonight, I think it's quite clear that Fury would win against Chisora again.I'm not even sure about that anymore, I can see Fury doing his bit of showboating and going to zzzzzz land after the first clean shot by Wilder. Oh, for sure man. I actually rate Hughie over Tyson and would fancy Hughie to beat him in a 6-8 months time. Hughie, as you say, is so smooth and slick; he switches his shots up nicely. It's great to watch.I don't think the first is necessarily true. AJ can be a bit stiff - too many 1-2s. I mean, that's not a bad thing, but look at hughie - how smooth he looks and how he mixes it up.
Don't get all the hate on Fury, I mean, he showed up when it got tough. He didn't hide or anything. I liked what I saw, he has obviously worked on his jab. He's pretty quick on his feet and throws a decent right hand.
take 20 pounds off him and you'll see a pretty decent fighter.
Compare him to the fat, useless sob who fought McDermott in 2010 and see how far he's gone.
The Cunningham fight I put down to the absence of Peter Fury in the corner, but its clear Tyson has a problem with discipline. He doesn't stick to a game plan. Jesus, he couldn't even be arsed to stay in shape. The hate other fighters on NSB get for showing up looking like trash is ridiculous.
I don't mean to hype up Wlad, but he shows up in superb condition for EVERY fight. The same with Haye. The same with Mayweather et al. There's a reason why these guys dominate/reach the top of their divisions.
Fury, for a guy who has an extended training period, looked awful. His footwork, if anything, has regressed and he was so open to the counter throughout. He really looked amateurish.
That's absolutely no excuse.Silly to judge him on a fight like this.
He quite clearly couldn't be arsed for this fight and came in the heaviest he has in his career.
Prior to this he was in the best shape of his life for Haye.
Not saying he's good enough to beat Wlad but he most certainly is a threat to the main HW contenders.
Fury will be KOd the minute he gets in the ring with a live, heavy-handed contender.Comment

WTF? Out of shape (I don't care about the other stuff, a dedicated pro athlete shouldn't be going in and out of shape so much, it's not healthy) Fury gets a stoppage v complete bum Abell who Arreola blasted out in 1 round, while Chisora beats and drops a rugged veteran who was actually more active than he usually is with a near shutout. How exactly do performances tonight lean towards Fury winning?Comment

Light years? Really?
Joshua is still raw, and his defence isn't tight enough yet (he leaves his chin exposed and he doesn't really pump the jab enough), but he's not all that far away from Fury's level.
IMO, Hughie will be a greater threat to Joshua in the long run.
Tyson has been lucky. He's been stunned/dropped by absolute nobodies and feather-fisted fighters. He'll be stopped soon, I have no doubt.Comment
