Khan is very fast,it is the main thing he has going for him and his biggest talent. Speed can be measured and there is plenty of footage out there so the fastest ever is something that could be determined.
A fighter with short arms will "appear" faster as the punch has less far to travel. As for fastest ever, I really doubt it as I doubt LWW and WW produce the fastest fighters the lighter weights look faster to me.

Don't get it twisted, khan has tremendous hand speed.

Now he's working with a defensive coach to perfect his game. Mayweather is not a tremendous puncher either so I think we see Khan at his best against Mayweather.

I don't agree that Khan has the fastest hands ever but if that's what you think I know you have your mind made up. I think Khan has fast hands but not as fast as Mayweather, Gamboa, Pacquiao, Russell, Rigo and some other guys fighting today. Khan has fast hands but certainly not the fastest hands in boxing in my opinion. I think when you see him fight Mayweather it will become clear that Mayweather has faster, harder and more accurate punches than Khan. Until they have a machine that accurately measures hand speed who has the fastest hands is just a matter of opinion. My opinion is it ain't Khan.
