How bad is Floyd's legacy stained?

How much did Joe Louis make? How about Ali? Jack Johnson?i'm confused? how is he stained when he sells a million PPVs & he makes millions\fight? i'd love to see the pacquiao fight but he is so far ahead of the competition. he beats guys with ease & he's undefeated. he hasn't taken any easy fights in my opinion. I don't like him but he is the best fighter on the planet! pacman\Bradley winner will fight him. i'd be surprised if he doesn't fight both of them before he retires.
Oh, you don't know?
Exactly.
Nobody gives a **** ass how much they make. We watch for the results. We watch for the best to fight the best. He fails in that regard.Comment

People have already moved past it, and the sport is as well. People will remember Pac refusing more stringent drug testing along with all the other garbage from both camps. Did it hurt their legacies a bit? Yes, but not as much as pac gobblers want to pretend on here.Last edited by DeadLikeMe; 02-15-2014, 11:24 AM.Comment

I'm no fan of Floyd's but his dominating win over Canelo was a good one. The fact that he made him drop to 152 stunk because he fought Oscar and Cotto at 154.
Everyone was implying he wouldn't fight the kid and he did so he deserves credit for that at least. We don't know what Canelo will end up being in the long run but Floyd has a way of selling his opponent to the public as the best fighters around because they are coming off good wins over guys who may or not be good fighters regardless. That's why the Khan flight is even indefensible to Floyd fans, there's no way of justifying the match up period.Comment
