    I guess someone thinks Chris Eubanks>>>>Bernard Hopkins

    Anyone care to discuss:

    Graciano Rocchigiani who was robbed against Maske and Michalcewski and beat Nunn (who Jones officially ducked), knocked out Hamsho (who gave Hagler fits) in a round etc. Eubank fought him in the middle of all that when he was 35-0 and the most avoided fighter in boxing. Lindell Holmes had blasted Frank Tate all over the ring and only lost to Van Horn on a body shot/exhaustion KO on his knees after dominating early. Michael Watson was tremendous against McCallum and improved from that. And Benn post-Barkley and pre-McClellan. Hopkins doesn't come close when we talk fighters in the primes of their young lives who were genuine major severe threats.

    Hopkins = cardinal sins of potential boxing greatness.

    Eubank = unbreakable. The opposite.

      Eubank may not have fought Toney, but when did Hopkins fight Julian Jackson, Reggie Johnson or Otis Grant? He wanted nothing of them.

          20 years later Hopkins is still a world champion...there is absolutely no debate here

            That doesn't mean jack.

            I might as well say, 90 years later Hopkins is still a champion and Jack Dempsey is not.

                Hopkins is an absolute bore and an obvious juicer. It doesn't mean **** that he's a 'champion'. He wants nothing to do with the live-wires in his division. He'll avoid Kovalev and Stevenson like the plague.

                  no way is he a juicer, and you can't talk about boxers being boring when you have klitschko in your sig.

                  I think he would school stevenson, kovalev is a dangerous fight but you can't bet against hopkins to take out another over-hyped fighter.

                    By school, you mean clinch incessantly, feign low blows and b1tch to the ref about illegal tactics?

                    I'm glad Hopkins isn't given air time. The guy is an absolute BORE.
