Do you actually want to see Kirkland-Golovkin OP?
    Good twitter find.

Yes, I want to see it. I have complete confidence in the Wolfe Kirkland duo. I can understand if they want to take it slow though.

But with 50 cent as their promoter, I really don't see any big fights for Kirk on the horizon. All the 154 lb'ers are with GBP unless they can steal a Cotto fight if he wins or loses against Martinez

Other than that, there's not to many fights for Kirk while he's with 50 cent. I just want to see the best for him before it's to late. He's getting older and his style isn't conducive for a long career

Fair enough. Personally, I don't think it's a bad fight but I'd prefer to see GGG-Geale.

Heck nooooo to Molina lol You couldn't pay me to watch him fight again

Andrade yes, I forgot about that fight. I like both guys so I wouldn't want to see that one; especially not this early in Andrade's career.

The biggest reason GGG cannot get opponents is because of HBO. His opponents damn well know that he is a gigantic risk. Yet they continuously budget his fights for around 700,000 (for both fighters)

So GGG takes about 400,000, and his opponents get 300 or less. I cannot blame them for taking a pass.

For the ratings GGG gets, the budget should be double. Opponents, especially name fighters like Kirkland, should get a half mil.

He's actually #3 in the WBO behind rose and Cotto.... and Rose fight is being negotiated right now.

I agree. I feel like GGG's ratings are good enough to offer his opponents more money... But his opponents aren't making enough money to want to leave Showtime and their promoter and come to HBO..

What opponents are you referring to on Showtime? The only relevant middleweight on Showtime is Peter Quillin. And there is 154 pounder Lara recently. That's it.

All the major players at 160 have no contract with Showtime. Sergio Martinez, Murray, Geale, Sturm, etc., they either have contracts with HBO or can fight on HBO. Geale rejected GGG how many times now, three? Sturm - lol. Murray I guess has visa issues. Martinez is picking on Cotto. So at the moment GGG has to fight guys like Stevens and the likes, offer guys like Kirkland a shot and hope for the best.

Quillin, Jacobs, Lara, Canelo/Mayweather (down the line).... Mainly Quillin and Jacobs though... Some people laugh, but I think Jacobs would be GGG's strongest opponent to date despite the Pirog fight.

Canelo should be moving up within the next year or so

Jacobs really is not a player at all at 160.

Mayweather is obviously not realistic. We'll see about Canelol

Lately, none of GGG's opponents haven't been any real players at 160 to begin with.

I think Jacobs is a player based on his potential. But to play devil's advocate, if he's not a player, it's not due to his capabilities in the ring, it's due to GBP sitting him on the sidelines and not making him as active as he should be.

But if we're talking about his capabilities, I feel he has enough power to make GGG respect him and is very sharp. People laugh, but Jacobs was outlanding Pirog and winning the fight before the stoppage. Sure Pirog landed the bigger single shots, but Jacobs was winning off quantity. That's neither here nor there because Jacobs was stopped, even though he wasn't even given a chance to get up, but nothing we can say now.

I think Jacobs stands a better chance and is more of a threat than Geale, Adama Stevens, or Macklin. If we're being technical, I feel Jacobs beats Quillin also.

GBP is just taking forever to keep him active
