Several of Britain's largest sporting arenas are under consideration to stage the rematch between Carl Froch and George Groves that has finally been agreed for May 31.

Eighty-two days after the bitter rivals fought a nine-round thriller that ended with Froch stopping his younger opponent in controversial circumstances, they have agreed to meet for a second time.

Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn views it as the biggest fight in British history and name-checked several major venues as possibilities to host a showdown that Froch starts as odds-on favourite.

Hat's off to Froch for taking it.... I think he realises as much as he dislikes Groves there really wasn't any other fight financially or as meaningful as the rematch. I hope the fight will be as good as the pre fight build up and the head to heads, I'm sure it will , can't wait, Are you tuned in FLOYD!!!

Millennium Stadium (72,500) is probably the best bet in terms of weather but it's in Wales.

today i re watched the fight for the first time, i still believe the stoppage was really bad, aweful, but watching it live i had the feeling it was much closer, now i saw it diferent. groves was beating froch really bad, he landed several right hands that were hurting carl. i think groves takes the rematch.
